What is Permanent Makeup?
Permanent makeup is an innovative solution in the modern world of cosmetics. Unlike traditional tattoos, permanent makeup doesn't deposit pigments as deeply into the skin. Consequently, the process is less painful and more gentle. Using a special nanoneedle, pigments are delicately and precisely inserted into the skin. The duration of the outcome typically ranges from 1 to 2 years, depending on the client's age and health condition. A significant advantage of permanent makeup is that it's performed in the upper layer of the dermis, minimizing the risk of bleeding. The primary objective of permanent makeup is to enhance natural beauty and address age-related imperfections.
How long does Permanent Makeup last?
The result after completing the Permanent Make-up procedure lasts for a long time - generally 1 to 3 years. However, it's important to mention several factors that can influence this process: skin type, quality of pigment application, lifestyle, sunlight exposure, age, metabolism, health condition, and much more.
Gloss Loft exclusively uses the latest certified and safe pigments that are health-approved and ensure perfect skin compatibility. All pigments adhere to the safety standards of the European Regulation on pharmaceutical raw materials.
We work with state-of-the-art pigmentation devices, utilize sterile disposable packaging modules, wear surgical disposable gloves, caps, face masks, and employ the necessary disinfectants.
Our studio has been certified and has received a European hygiene certificate (No. 21039511a). High quality and safety are of the utmost priority in Gloss Loft's work!
We recommend our clients to repeat the procedure every 1.5 to 2 years to maintain the ideal shape and color.
How long does the Permanent Makeup procedure take?
Each Permanent Make-up procedure consists of several steps:
- Introduction: In this phase, all necessary information about the client and their health condition is collected and recorded. Desires and other concerns are discussed and addressed.
- Shape Creation: At this stage, a new shape for eyebrows, lips, or eyes is sketched, taking into account the face's geometry and other important factors.
- Execution of the Permanent Make-up Procedure: Only after successfully completing the above-mentioned steps do we begin the actual work.
To provide our clients with better planning, we provide average estimated durations for the procedures:
- Eyebrows: 2.5 to 3 hours.
- Eyelids: approximately 2 hours.
- Lips: 2.5 to 3.5 hours.
The second session (correction) typically lasts around 2 hours, regardless of the treated area.

The intricacies of the Permanent Makeup process at Gloss Loft Studio?
After superficial numbing and precise outlining, we inject the pigment. In our studio, we exclusively work with high-quality materials and devices. Everything is certified, and the high quality is confirmed by the corresponding certificates. The procedures are carried out safely and in accordance with applicable standards. You can feel confident that you're in good hands with us!
What can one expect from the first Permanent Makeup session?
During the first session, we collaboratively determine the shape and color. Before the actual procedure, we sketch an outline to help you visualize the end result. Every client is unique. Therefore, using state-of-the-art Permanent Make-up technologies, we create an individually suitable shape that takes into account your skin type, eye and hair color, as well as your personal preferences.
We commence the Permanent Make-up procedure only after all your questions have been answered. An important phase of the work process involves photographing the client before, during, and after the procedure. This allows us to track changes in high quality and visually. Such images will also be provided to you. Images of the end result will, of course, be published on our social media channels and website for promotional purposes only with your approval.
Upon completing the procedure, we provide guidance on cleaning the treated area and offer tips for at-home care. Additionally, we schedule a follow-up appointment, which should take place no sooner than a month later. If you have any questions, our clients can always reach out to us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Why is the correction procedure actually needed?
Each Permanent Make-up procedure consists of several steps: the first session, the main treatment, and the second correction session to ensure long-lasting effects.
During the healing process after the initial treatment, a certain amount of pigment (between 20% to 80%) is lost. This mainly depends on age, lifestyle, health, skincare, and skin conditions. The Permanent Make-up procedure is not yet complete after the initial treatment, hence the second session - the correction - is of significant importance. Typically, the correction is done one month after the first procedure (28 days of skin regeneration period).
The purpose of the second session is to revise the lost pigment and further enhance the pigmentation if needed. If you do not undergo the correction session within the recommended timeframe, we cannot guarantee the long-term effectiveness of the result, and we do not assume responsibility if you are dissatisfied with the end outcome.
How long does the healing process take?
The healing process takes about four weeks, during which time the skin regenerates and the pigment stabilizes. However, the exact duration of complete healing cannot be predicted as it varies from person to person. Factors like skin type, medications, or stress also influence the healing process. After the procedure, we recommend that you carefully care for the treated area to expedite the healing process and achieve an optimal result. Every Gloss Loft client receives all the information about post-procedure care, not only verbally but also in writing.
Is Permanent Make-up painful?
It is impossible to provide a general answer to this question as the pain threshold of each individual varies. Nevertheless, we strive to make the procedure as comfortable for you as possible.

Can the pigmentation color change after a while?
We use high-quality pigments from reputable manufacturers. These pigments do not contain iron oxides, which can sometimes change their color due to a chemical reaction.
It is crucial to accurately fill out our questionnaire, which you receive before the procedure at our studio, so that we can tailor the selection of pigments specifically to you.
Each client is unique, and as such, we strive to customize our procedures for each individual to achieve the best possible result.
What should be considered after the procedure?
After the first session, you will receive detailed care instructions from us. During the healing process, there are several important things to consider, especially avoiding sun exposure and tanning beds. Immediately after the procedure, the skin is very sensitive, so it's crucial to protect it from the sun and tanning beds to avoid negatively affecting the healing process. Swimming pools and saunas can pose a high risk of infection, so avoid them until the treated area is fully healed. Additionally, the healing skin area should not be soaked. Refrain from any cosmetic and medical procedures of any kind until the pigmented area is fully healed. Do not use cosmetics on the pigmented area to avoid disrupting the healing process. Cosmetics can block oxygen supply to the healing area and create a breeding ground for bacteria that can lead to infections. After healing, you should regularly moisturize the pigmented area to extend the lifespan of your Permanent Makeup. Each of our clients receives a specialized care product for the pigmented skin area.
Is it possible to do Permanent Makeup based on a template?
On the contrary, that is not the best idea.
We place great importance on each customer's skin and facial features, as every person is unique. Our main goal is to enhance individual natural beauty favorably, rather than creating a standardized makeup that may not suit your face.
Our treatments are tailored to each customer, with a special focus on natural facial features. Let us know your preferences, and we will do our best to fulfill them.

What happens immediately after the procedure with my skin?
Immediately after Permanent Make-up, there may be slight swelling or redness. This is a completely normal reaction of the body. However, your skin should calm down after a few hours. If you wish, you can gently cool the treated area with something cold (but not wet).
Can I use cosmetics immediately after the procedure?
The pigmented area of the skin should not come into contact with cosmetics, as this can negatively impact both the healing process and the end result. Therefore, we recommend being extremely cautious during the first 2-3 days and taking good care of the treated area according to our care recommendations.
Is it possible to receive services at a minor age?
We only conduct Permanent Makeup procedures after prior consultation and written consent from a legal guardian. However, we reserve the right to assess such cases individually.

Is Permanent Make-up possible while taking medications?
In principle, this is possible. A preliminary consultation with your treating physician is recommended. Before starting the procedure, filling out a consent form is necessary, which includes questions about your health and the medications you are taking. This information helps us prepare the Permanent Make-up optimally.
What contraindications should you be aware of?
General contraindications: Pregnancy, breastfeeding, herpes, viral, bacterial, or fungal infections, hemophilia, intake of blood-thinning medications or steroids. Before the procedure, you will receive a form (questionnaire) to fill out, where you will find a list of all contraindications. If you have a cold or fever, Permanent Makeup will not be performed. In this case, we ask our clients to inform us in advance so that we can reschedule our appointment to a new time.
